A competent electrician can handle a dedicated circuit if you want one, but for most rooms it's not necessary.

The Electric Log Burner Stove and the Cast-Body Freestanding Stove both use layered LED technology with ember beds — in a dim room they're convincing enough that visitors ask whether it's real. The Media Wall Fire 1200 has adjustable flame colour and intensity, which helps you dial it to whatever the room needs. I'd say the log burner is the most convincing at close range. Once a unit is installed and used, we can't accept a return — but we can often help you find a buyer through our trade network.

That depends on your tariff and how long you run it. Most of our fires draw between 1kW and 2kW on full heat — at current average UK rates, that's roughly 25-50p per hour. The flame effect alone uses almost nothing, so many customers run it on visual-only most of the year. Two years, parts and labour, on all fires we sell. That covers the heating element, the flame mechanism, and the control unit — the components that actually fail if anything goes wrong. It doesn't cover cosmetic damage from installation or accidental impact. The Honed Marble Surround Suite has a separate 12-month warranty on the stone itself, covering manufacturing defects. If something goes wrong inside the warranty period, contact us directly — we don't route you through a call centre.

For a room up to about 25 square metres, yes. It puts out 2kW on full, which is the same as a standard plug-in heater. The difference is the thermostat is precise and the heat distribution is even. In a larger open-plan space it'll take the edge off but won't be your sole heat source — most customers in that situation use it as a secondary fire alongside underfloor heating or a radiator. As a focal point for a living room or dining room, it does the job properly.
